About the Job
Overview:
- Service Manager position is available to lead activities of a team of field service technicians.
- The technicians provide service for commercial dish machines & chemical dispensers as part of the Service Division of a well-established manufacturer of cleaning chemicals.
- The position requires travel mainly within Texas and sometimes to neighboring states.
- The position offers stable, full-time, long-term employment with the opportunity for advancement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of service experience
- Technical knowledge of commercial dish machines is an important asset
- Must have electrical, mechanical and plumbing knowledge
- Team oriented
- Sales experience is an asset
- Strong English grammar, math and computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree is an asset
Responsibilities & Goals
- Increase overall service level
- Manage and mentor an existing team of field service technicians
- Improve route and work efficiencies
- Provide continuous training to improve technician knowledge and effectiveness
- Recruit and train more service technicians as needed
